And she gathered up her lasso and put on her cowgirl hat for a sexy new photoshoot for Essence magazine.
The 29-year-old singer posed in various poses in the country-themed shoot including a near naked pose in a tin bath in the middle of a field.

But many of her fans are happy that the multi-platinum selling singer is back in the limelight after taking some time off.
Beyoncé gets into the editor’s chair for the six-page spread in Essence entitled Eat, Play, Love.
The Grammy Award winning songstress shares everything from her nine-month hiatus from the music industry to learning how to just enjoy the simple things in life.


’I had talked about taking a vacation before, but always ended up in the studio after two weeks. This time, though, I was serious.

Beyoncé looks stunning in other shots including showing off her enviable figure in a white swimsuit with a large cut-out revealing her flat, toned stomach.
She pairs this with bottomless chaps, a hat which covers her long blonde tresses and her signature smile.
The energetic entertainer also leans back on a horse wearing brown shorts and a see-through white blouse for another image which is captured on behind the scenes video.
Beyonce also squeezes into a tight pair of denim Daisy Dukes and poses as she’s surrounded by a group of very happy cowboys.
Talking about growing up in Texas and going to events like the rodeo, which inspired her recent shoot, Beyoncé said that she has fond memories of that time.
’It was like the biggest family picnic; there was laughter and music everywhere and everyone dressed in their Texas finest. I love watching all the people. We’d eat fried Snickers, funnel cakes, and fried turkey legs; the smell was the best mixture of spicy and sweet,’ she shared about her fattening treats.
Beyoncé also opened up about her mother Tina Knowles who serves as her stylist, business partner and best friend.
’She was my first example of what a powerful woman is,’ the confesses ’mommy’s girl’ said.
’She shaped my thinking not so much by what she said, but what she did. My mother taught me the principles of hard work, setting my own goals and visualizing my future,’ the Destiny’s Child founder gushed.

’Egypt was the best. When I visited the pyramids, I had an experience I’ll never forget.
’I started singing Ava Maria inside the pyramid. The depth of the tomb was incredible. I’ve never heard acoustics so clear. My voice sounded so pure. It was inconceivable. I could have stayed in there forever.’
But she is set to perform on a totally different stage, and again experience something she has never before - legendary British festival Glastonbury.


The Bootylicious star says she is ’nervous’ about playing to more than 100,000 people - her largest ever British audience - on June 26 but she feels ready to take the risk.
When Jay-Z headlined the festival three years ago, Noel Gallagher said having a hip hop artist at the event was ’wrong’, but the rapper’s performance was widely hailed as a ’triumph’.

Beyoncé’s new album 4 is due to be released on June 28 but it has already been leaked in its entirety online.
The performer was not happy about her songs being out on the internet so early but says she is happy that people are liking what they hear.


Tracks including collaborations with Andre 3000 and Kanye have given fans an early insight into her new tunes which is her first since her hit album I Am... Sasha Fierce which was released in 2008.
